SAN GIORGIO A CREMANO – They allegedly turned a woman's life into a nightmare of threats, demands for money, and violence. For this reason, this morning, the State Police executed a house arrest warrant, with the use of electronic tags, against two individuals seriously suspected of extortion, robbery, and stalking.
The order was issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office following investigations conducted by officers from the San Giorgio a Cremano Police Station. The alleged incidents date back to February and March 2025 and were allegedly committed in the San Giorgio a Cremano area, to the detriment of the same victim.
The woman's complaint, exasperated by the constant harassment and insistent extortion demands, was crucial to the investigation. Through their investigations, investigators gathered evidence deemed sufficient by the judicial authorities to order the precautionary measures against the two suspects.
According to the prosecution's hypothesis, in addition to threats and demands for money, robberies also occurred, amidst repeated harassment that caused the victim severe anxiety and fear. The order is a precautionary measure adopted during the preliminary investigation. As required by law, the suspects remain presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached, and appeals against the order are permitted.
