Threats and attempted intimidation during an environmental inspection. This is what happened in the San Tammaro area, in the Caserta province, during an operation by the Caserta Provincial Police in the so-called Land of Fires, an area long at the center of efforts to combat environmental crimes.
During the investigation, officers inspected a business located on the border with Casal di Principe. It was during these operations that the need to seize the area emerged.
Threats to officers
Informed of the impending action, the company owner – identified by the initials DF – allegedly approached the workers and made intimidating remarks.
The man, in the presence of Provincial Police Commander Biagio Chiariello, allegedly attempted to influence the officers' actions by claiming a criminal past and declaring that he had been charged with four murders.
This behavior prompted the operators to proceed with investigations and report the matter to the judicial authorities.
The precedents and references of the collaborators of justice
Further investigation revealed that the man had previously been identified by several collaborators of justice as being close to a criminal organization and involved in serious bloody incidents.
Furthermore, a few years ago, he had been arrested for possession of weapons believed to be linked to a known criminal group. The weapons were found inside the very company now at the center of the investigation.
Reporting and seizure of the area
At the end of the operation, the man was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere on charges of threats and resisting a public official.
At the same time, the agents proceeded to seize the entire area, as part of their efforts to combat environmental crime in the Land of Fires.

I read the article above and it seems strange to me, but I'm not sure about everything, there are many steps that don't need to be explained well, the company is at the border and people will talk, the officials carried out checks but the procedure doesn't seem clear to me, we need to see more facts.
