A false bomb threat caused panic this morning at the Naples North Courthouse, located in Aversa, in the Caserta province. An anonymous call alerted law enforcement to the presence of a bomb inside an elevator at the Palace of Justice, forcing the immediate evacuation of the entire building.
Judges, lawyers, and administrative staff were evacuated outside to allow for routine checks. The bomb squad of the Caserta Carabinieri Investigative Unit responded to the scene and, after thorough checks, confirmed the report was unfounded: no explosives, no real danger. The facility was declared safe, and judicial proceedings were able to resume as normal.

This seems strange news, both correct and worrying, but there's no panic. I don't understand how an anonymous call could so easily get into the elevator and cause so much disruption. Judges, lawyers, and staff were cleared out, but the person remained confused. I was hoping the checks would be quicker, but then everything returned to normal. We await clarification and improved security measures.
