Milan – An alleged prostitution ring, operating in the shadow of Milan's nightlife and most exclusive tourist destinations, has been uncovered by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, culminating in four house arrests.

The investigation revolves around “Ma. De Milano”, an events agency based in Cinisello Balsamo managed by Emanuele Buttini (37 years old) and Deborah Ronchi (38), now under arrest together with two other collaborators.

According to Deputy Prosecutor Bruna Albertini, who signed the request for pre-trial detention, the young women involved—some of whom were described as "particularly vulnerable"—could soon be "heard as preliminary information" as witnesses.

The agency and the evening rate

The Guardia di Finanza's investigations reveal the profile of a well-structured organization, with a list of over 70 alleged VIP clients. Wiretaps reveal the financial dynamics managed by the agency's top management: in a recorded conversation, there is reference to sums in the thousands of euros to be recovered over the course of a single sports weekend. It is essential to note that the clients, by using paid sexual services, are not committing any crime under Italian law and, therefore, are not under investigation in this investigation.

Football's Biggest Names: Revelations from "Il Giornale"

Although the names of the clients were omitted from the precautionary custody order signed by investigating judge Chiara Valori, the newspaper Il Giornale published the details that emerged from the search warrant and the lists of keywords used by investigators to scan the seized smartphones.

According to Il Giornale, among the contacts being examined by investigators, eight phone calls stand out, with a number registered to Dejan Stankovic, a former footballer and current coach. The same newspaper also reports that the file includes the name of current Lazio player Daniel Maldini, who was reportedly in the company of Buttini, the manager of the agency targeted by the prosecutor's office, in Mykonos.

Il Giornale also mentions the unmissable presence of Marcus Pedersen (Torino) and Christian Volpato (Sassuolo), as well as Cheickh Niasse (Verona), who according to the newspaper was spotted in a Milanese hotel in an episode that also involved the search for laughing gas.

To identify the large pool of alleged clients, investigators used search terms. As reported exclusively by Il Giornale, these search terms include the names of numerous players from Inter Milan (such as Bastoni, Bellanova, Bisseck, Hakimi, Coutinho, Skriniar, Carlos Augusto), AC Milan (De Winter, Leao, Giroud, Menez), Juventus (Vlahovic, Arthur Melo, "Alvaro"), Atalanta (Scamacca, Ruggeri), Lazio (Nuno Tavares), and Arsenal (Calafiori). These names, the newspaper specifies, currently represent only computer search terms and do not imply direct or confirmed involvement.

From Formula 1 to winter sports

The agency's network wasn't limited to the world of soccer. According to the wiretaps filed, the organization also received requests from other high-level sports sectors. Recorded conversations reveal specific requests for the arrival of a Formula 1 driver in Milan, as well as references to the entertainment of ice hockey athletes during the last Winter Olympics. This picture paints a cross-section of contacts in the worlds of sports and entertainment, which the Prosecutor's Office is now called upon to fully investigate.
