Naples: Fines for two popular nightclubs in Chiaia

Naples – Chiaia, widespread checks in the area known for its nightlife. Carabinieri from the Naples Central Company conducted a high-impact operation with the support of local health authority (ASL) and municipal police personnel, focusing checks on businesses and road traffic.

The operation resulted in 65 identified individuals, 10 vehicles checked, and 19 fines issued for traffic violations. Two businesses were also targeted during the inspections.

Irregularities in the premises, suspensions triggered

Specifically, the inspections focused on a well-known local restaurant, where seven minor non-compliances and one serious non-compliance were found. The latter led to the suspension of production of gluten-free meals, in addition to a charge of failure to implement self-monitoring procedures. The owner was fined €2.

A bar in the heart of Chiaia suffered a similar fate: its business was suspended for not having provided a health notification, with a €3 fine. Inspections also revealed that the Scia (certified health authority) had expired.

On the security front, two people were reported to the Prefecture for personal use of narcotics, while two others were cited for violating the ban on accessing urban areas. Finally, a 20-year-old man was reported for driving without a license, a repeat offender within the past two years.
