The company that manages the Agnano racetrack is not happy to be associated with the issue of the horses testing positive for doping. In an official statement, New Agnano Arena & Races distances itself from the news circulating in the last few hours and clarifies its position.
"The company has learned from the press of the news in which the Agnano racetrack is improperly linked to a sordid doping scandal involving several horses that tested positive," reads the statement released by CEO Pier Luigi D'Angelo.
The company, on the one hand, expresses appreciation for the work done by the regulatory bodies that identified the alleged perpetrators; on the other, it rejects any connection between the plant's management and the alleged illegal practices.
As emphasized in the statement, any liability lies solely with those who manage the animals: "We caution anyone against linking the management of the Agnano racetrack to illegal practices involving racehorses. Responsibility is personal and lies with the trainers and owners."
Finally, the company notes that the individuals involved have already been identified and subjected to the required judicial procedures. The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office will now determine any criminal liability following the completion of the ongoing investigations and proceedings.

It doesn't appear to us that the company is entirely uninvolved in the matter, but the checks have done their job and it seems the perpetrators have been found. However, there remains some confusing information and spliced sentences that don't fully clarify the dynamics of the case.
I don't fully understand the situation, and the company claims to have nothing to do with it, but many doubts remain; the details about who managed the horses and the trainers are confusing. The prosecutor's office should clarify this immediately, without prejudice, missing evidence, scattered documents, and witnesses who speak ill of the schedules and shifts.
