The draw snatched yesterday afternoon at the Tardi in Parma by Antonio Conte's Napoli is not a point to be thrown away because it came at the end of a difficult match, which started in the worst possible way and was recovered with character, mental strength and the desire to remain attached to the Scudetto train until the end.
The Azzurri leave the field with some regrets, but also with the awareness that they are still alive, still in the running, still ready to fight.
The match had turned into a nightmare practically from the first breath. A very hard blow, arrived cold, capable of immediately disrupting the Neapolitan team's plans and sending the match in an unexpected direction. For several minutes, Napoli suffered the psychological backlash.
The sudden defeat led to nervousness, a few too many errors in the build-up, and a certain difficulty in finding rhythm and cleanliness of maneuvers. Parma, strong in their early lead, was able to manage with more tranquility, closing down spaces and trying to counterattack whenever the Azzurri conceded space.
Yet, precisely in the most difficult moments, we saw the strength of a team that refused to give up.
Napoli gradually raised their heads, increasing possession, raising their center of gravity and persistently seeking the right play in the final meters.
Towards the end of the first half, the Azzurri pushed with greater conviction, coming close to equalizing and building the foundations for a real comeback. The goal, however, didn't arrive until halftime, leaving a sense of frustration lingering in the air after only just missing a chance.
In the second half, however, the team returned to the pitch with a different face. More determined, more united, more confident in their abilities. Napoli began to steadily occupy the opposition's half, showcasing their quality and intensity.
The Azzurri's pressure grew minute after minute, until it led to a deserved equalizer in the 60th minute.
Scott McTominay once again restored balance, increasingly a forceful player in both phases of play and increasingly decisive in key moments of the season. Parma, however, held firm and sacrificed, while the Azzurri lacked the final spark to complete the job. Thus, it remains a draw that slows things down, but doesn't dampen them. Because the most important signal comes precisely from the reaction.
Conceding a goal after 33 seconds, in such a delicate match, could have thrown anyone off balance.
Napoli, on the other hand, knew how to suffer, regroup and take control of their destiny at least within the ninety minutes.
And it is precisely this ability to not collapse, to stay in the race even when everything seems to be going wrong, that can make the difference in the final corners of the season.
The Scudetto race is still open, and Napoli has a duty to believe in it until the very end.
The Azzurri have shown the pride, quality, and mental fortitude of a true team. Sure, the draw against Parma leaves a hint of disappointment, but at the same time it provides one certainty: this team has no intention of throwing in the towel.
As long as there are games to play and points to earn, Napoli will continue to chase their dream.
And perhaps, from a complicated evening like this, the right emotional push for the final rush can be born.
Because championships aren't won just on perfect nights, but also by knowing how to resist on dirty days, grit your teeth and stay standing.
Napoli is still there. And as long as it's there, anything is possible.

The draw was important, but it's not perfect. Napoli were there and showed character and courage, but they conceded a goal at the first breath and their plan was disrupted. Afterwards they slowly recovered with increased possession and desire, but that final spark is missing. Let's hope they find more clarity in the next match.
