In Sarno, history doesn't just remain in books: it comes to life, walks the streets and speaks through the new generations. This is the heart of the second edition of "Sarno. Challenge to the Aragonese Court", promoted bySarnus Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Sarno.
On April 16th, the village of Terravecchia will be transformed into a real open-air stage, where past and present meet thanks to the project “Memoirs of a Storyteller”, created with the direct involvement of the students of the “Enrico Fermi” Technical Institute – Tourism major, who were the true protagonists of the entire initiative.

A living museum among the alleys of Terravecchia
From 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the historic center will become an immersive itinerary: not just a conference, but a walk through history, led by students from the "E. Fermi" Technical Institute (Tourism major), who will accompany participants along a multi-stage itinerary.

In small groups, with shifts every 15 minutes, the students will guide their peers to discover the Aragonese Sarno, transforming themselves into authentic narrators of the territory and making the history accessible, engaging and alive.

The stations will be animated by historical reenactment companies that will make the experience even more evocative:

A multisensory journey that combines storytelling, entertainment, and education, where young people become true contemporary storytellers.

The grand finale in the Cloister of San Francesco

The route will conclude in one of the city's most fascinating locations, the Cloister of San Francesco, where the final stop will be entrusted to the Doria Archers, ready to bring back the atmosphere and gestures of the past.

From history to the future: the press conference

The official press conference to present the second edition of the Battle of Sarno will be held from 12 to 13 p.m. in the Sarno City Council Chamber.
An institutional and symbolic moment, which establishes the link between school, the local area, and cultural promotion.
