It all started with a tip-off to the Operations Center: a man and a woman, having just left the Conad supermarket in Vitulazio with stolen goods, had fled in a black BMW with Bulgarian license plates. The officers immediately searched the area, finding the vehicle parked on a side street, near another store: the Decò Maxistore.

At this point, the Carabinieri set up a surveillance unit. Shortly thereafter, the two suspects exited the second supermarket and were stopped as they were walking toward their car.
Stolen goods worth 800 euros and house arrest
The search yielded a positive result: approximately €500 worth of food and cosmetics, stolen from the Conad supermarket, were found in the car. Cosmetics worth €300, recently stolen from the Decò Maxistore, were hidden in the 25-year-old's jacket.
All the merchandise was recovered and returned to the managers of the two supermarkets, who identified the thieves and filed a complaint. Those arrested were placed under house arrest pending a summary trial.
