The investigation by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office reconstructs the dense network of contacts and transactions between the world of professional sports and a conspiracy dedicated to aiding and abetting.

The architecture of the “MA.DE Model”

The Milan investigation that led to the house arrest of the top executives of the company MA.DE Milano not only describes an alleged prostitution ring, but also outlines a veritable architecture of services dedicated to a very high-profile clientele. At the center of the case are Emanuele Buttini and Deborah Ronchi, accused of turning their public relations business into a "bridge" for the provision of escort services and recreational drugs (such as the so-called "laughter drug").

The system was based on the creation of an "exclusivity bubble": a venue within a venue, where the players' privacy was guaranteed by a rigorous filter managed by the organization, which took care of every detail, from the selection of girls to the management of tables in the most sought-after private rooms in the city.

Traceability of luxury: €450 in bank transfers

One of the strongest aspects of the prosecution's case lies in the analysis of financial flows conducted by the Guardia di Finanza. Despite the cryptic language used, the cash flows speak for themselves: over €450.000 were paid directly by "professional footballers" into the suspects' accounts.

These transfers, according to preliminary investigations judge Chiara Valori, represent over a third of the total illicit profits estimated at €1,2 million. The amounts vary significantly among the various suspects: from €276.000 attributable to the Buttini-Ronchi duo, to approximately €111.000 paid to collaborators responsible for brokerage and client management.

International Logistics: From Cinisello to Mykonos

The organization did not operate in a haphazard manner, but had a structured logistics system. Records document the management of an operations base in Cinisello Balsamo, used as a hub for the arrival of the girls, often recruited abroad. Its reach extended well beyond the borders of Milan: during the summer months, the "service" relocated to Mykonos, following the flow of luxury tourists and sportsmen.

Wiretaps reveal constant managerial anxiety: "I always have to find girls," explained one of the suspects, emphasizing the need to ensure a constant turnover and a "quality" that met client expectations. The syndicate even handled the debts clients incurred with the organization, acting as a full-service agency.

The position of athletes: the weight of omission

The involvement of approximately seventy players from historic clubs such as AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Sassuolo, and Verona remains central to the media narrative. It is crucial to reiterate the legal fact: none of them are under investigation. Their participation in the parties and the related payments do not constitute a crime under Italian law, which punishes exploitation and aiding and abetting, not consumption.

Their names remain protected by "omissions," an investigative measure aimed at protecting individuals who, in this scenario, are either witnesses or, at worst, mere users of a system organized by third parties. However, the evidence remains of a profound and systematic connection between the leisure time of professional sports and these unconventional entertainment networks.

The role of social media and public image

The investigation also exposes a paradox of the digital age: while the organization sought maximum confidentiality for its clients, it also used social media exposure to gain credibility. Photos of the suspects with Serie A stars served to consolidate their "insider" status in Milan's nightlife, a necessary calling card to attract new girls and maintain control over the most exclusive private clubs, such as the Pineta, listed in the documents as an exclusive base of operations for certain weekends.
