Santa Maria Capua Vetere – A well-known face on Italian television has been summoned to court. Federica Aversano, 33, a former tronista on the popular dating show "Uomini e Donne," hosted by Maria De Filippi and broadcast on Canale 5, has been summoned to answer to charges of stalking before the President of the First Criminal Section of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Dr. Giovanni Caparco.

The hearing took place yesterday in the Campania city. The indictment was requested by the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Public Prosecutor's Office, represented by Public Prosecutor Dr. Oriana Zona, following a complaint filed by the woman's ex-partner, DS, 38, originally from Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
The man reportedly complained of stalking by his ex, describing a pattern of constant threats, verbal and physical aggression, as well as an incessant flow of phone calls during the day and night.
Aversano, who works as a hostess for a railway company and is an influencer, is assisted by lawyers Gaetano and Raffaele Crisileo.
The procedure and the “Red Code”
The case was investigated in accordance with the provisions of the Red Code legislation, the law that requires rapid response in situations of alleged violence. Prosecutor Zona, having received the complaint from the alleged victim's lawyer, promptly summoned the woman as a suspect, ensuring she had the opportunity to defend herself. After completing his assessment, however, he opted to commit the case to trial.
Yesterday, during the hearing, Aversano's former partner—who joined the civil action under the auspices of lawyer Goffredo Grasso—was subjected to cross-examination by the defense, which lasted approximately three hours.
The son and the next hearing
The couple have a six-year-old son, who is in custody of his mother by order of the Civil Judge. The next hearing is scheduled for June 30th, when the ex-partner's mother will be heard as a witness. She will be examined by the civil party's lawyer, Grasso, and subsequently cross-examined by Crisileo's lawyers.
