Capaccio Paestum – A 72-year-old German tourist, identified by the initials KO, lost his life while kayaking down the Capodifiume stream. Rescuers have informed the judicial authorities: the magistrate on duty at the Salerno Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered an external examination of the body, deemed necessary to clarify the circumstances of the death and determine whether it was due to an accident or a sudden illness. The incident has left the local community shocked, amid a tragically cut-off holiday.
