Investigators believe the group was active in the retail and home delivery of cocaine and hashish, with ties to other criminal organizations operating in Naples.
The investigation also suggests links to suppliers linked to Albanian criminals for the drug supply. According to investigators, the substance was distributed not only in Secondigliano but also in the Vasto-Arenaccia neighborhood, with distribution reaching as far as the province of Reggio Emilia.
Seizures during the investigations
During the investigation, six people believed to be linked to the group were arrested, and several kilograms of cocaine and hashish were seized. The 14 individuals targeted by the measures include alleged organizers, couriers, and drug dealers.
According to investigators, the group was traced back to Vincenzo Di Lauro, son of clan leader Paolo Di Lauro, and maintained its own operational capacity in several areas of the city.

After years of detention, in 2022 he expressed his willingness to cooperate with justice, beginning to provide statements on the structures and relationships between criminal groups active in the northern suburbs of Naples.

In one of the interrogations cited in the documents, Pasquale Paolo allegedly referred to a rapprochement between Vanella Grassi and Di Lauro, also naming several names considered important in the group's new structure. According to his account, these included Gaetano Angrisano, Antonio Corcione, Fabio Iazzetta, and Gino Rosas.
According to his own statement, the agreement between the two groups arose from personal relationships that later extended to illicit business, particularly drug trafficking. Further investigations on this front are also intended to verify the content and scope of the accusations.
