The preliminary hearing at the Benevento Court will be held on Monday: the man has been banned from approaching his cohabiting mother.
On Monday morning, the 49-year-old man from Arpaia, who faces serious charges of domestic abuse, will appear before the investigating judge of the Benevento Court. He has been placed under a precautionary measure prohibiting him from approaching his mother, including the use of an electronic bracelet.
The man, defended by lawyer Vittorio Fucci, will be subjected to preliminary hearings, during which he will be able to provide his version of events.
The precautionary measure was triggered by a complaint filed by the cohabiting mother, who allegedly told investigators of a prolonged situation of domestic violence, making cohabitation unsustainable.
According to the prosecution's hypothesis, the episodes of aggression—in some cases aggravated by the suspect's use of narcotics—generated a climate of constant fear within the home, seriously compromising the woman's serenity and safety.
The adoption of the electronic bracelet will allow for the continuous monitoring of the man's movements, in order to ensure compliance with the requirements imposed by the judicial authorities.
