Naples – Visiting the National Railway Museum in Pietrarsa has become easier and more convenient. Starting Sunday, May 10th, and until June 28th, a direct shuttle service will run on weekends and holidays between Naples Central Station (Metropark bus terminal) and the museum complex. Transportation will be free for all those who purchase a museum admission ticket.
The initiative, promoted by the FS Foundation, aims to improve accessibility and visitor reception, promoting easier and more integrated tourist mobility. The shuttle service is part of the Foundation's broader commitment to enhancing the historical railway heritage and making it accessible to an ever-wider public.
In terms of cultural promotion, the collaboration agreement between the FS Foundation and Scabec, the Campania Region's company for the promotion of cultural heritage, has also been renewed. This agreement strengthens awareness of the Pietrarsa museum and consolidates its role within the regional cultural system.
Thanks to this renewal, Campania Artecard holders will be able to access the museum at a reduced rate of €6, instead of the usual €9. The discount is valid for holders of the Napoli 3 Giorni, Campania 3 Giorni, Campania 7 Giorni, Campania 365, and Campania 365 Lite cards. This is an additional opportunity for residents and tourists to discover historic locomotives, vintage rolling stock, and the evocative location overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
