The vessel, which will remain moored in the port of bacoli, has already been equipped for its new mission. It will no longer transport fugitives, but students and researchers ready to "sail the seas of knowledge." The project will involve not only the academic world, but will also be open to middle and high schools, offering young people the opportunity to experience marine science firsthand while also learning the values of legality and the reuse of confiscated assets.

The new identity of Federica will be officially presented tomorrow, May 6th, at 11pm, in the evocative setting of the Council Room of the Federico II University in Corso Umberto I. The details of the operation will be illustrated by the Rector of the Federico II, Matteo Lorito, and the Mayor of Bacoli, Josi Gerardo Della Ragione, who strongly supported the integration of the vessel into the fabric of the Phlegraean territory.

Professor will also be present at the meeting. Leopold Repola, of the Department of Earth Sciences, who will explain how the vessel will become a point of reference for the study of the seabed and the marine ecosystem, and the Captain Raffaele Rosano of the Guardia di Finanza, a testament to the state's commitment to divert funds and resources from crime and return them to the community. A "metamorphosis" that marks a turning point in favor of culture and the sea, finally understood as a place of study, not tragedy.

It seems like a positive, yet neutral, story: the Federi boat is now a laboratory, but it's unclear how it will be managed; will the students go in groups? The professors will explain the plans, but maintenance isn't clear, and the project appears to still be in the start-up phase.
