Naples – During the night between Saturday and Sunday, the State Police arrested a 22-year-old, with a criminal record, seriously suspected of having committed a rapina against a Swiss citizen. The incident occurred last Thursday, when the victim, while walking along Via Alessandro Poerio, was approached by a man who violently snatched a gold necklace from her before immediately fleeing.
The investigation, conducted by officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, focused on analyzing footage from video surveillance cameras in the area, which allowed them to identify and track down the alleged perpetrator on Via Diomede Marvasi.
Upon seeing the officers, the 22-year-old attempted to flee, but was quickly apprehended and taken into custody. In addition to the robbery charge, the young man was also charged with resisting arrest.
Yesterday, during the validation hearing, the Judicial Authority ordered the boy's pre-trial detention, confirming the seriousness of the charges and the effectiveness of law enforcement intervention in central Naples.

It seems like a bad thing to me, but I don't know all the details; the state police intervened quickly, but I don't know if everything is clear. They approached the woman and ripped off her gold necklace. The young man tried to flee but was stopped; I remain perplexed.
