According to the reconstruction, the man threw a rock at a moving car, forcing the driver to pull over and get out to inspect the damage. At that moment, the 34-year-old took advantage of the situation to climb aboard and flee in the vehicle.

The victim promptly called 112, reporting the theft. Thanks to the GPS tracking system installed on the Fiat Panda, the Carabinieri were able to track the car to Arzano. A patrol intercepted the vehicle on Via Pecchia, where the thief was stopped and arrested.

Sebastiano Vincenzo is currently in prison awaiting trial.

Interesting episode, a story that makes you think: people don't always keep a watchful eye, the man threw a stone and then got into the car, but things aren't very clear, perhaps the driver was distracted, or perhaps there was an accomplice, in any case the police did the right thing, the GPS worked, now he's in prison awaiting trial, we'll see how it goes.
