Naples – The Juve Stabia Officially turning the page and looking to the future with renewed optimism. Alfredo Guerri is the new owner of the Campania-based club. This morning, the Naples Court's Prevention Measures Section resolved its reservations, deeming the expression of interest submitted by the entrepreneur, already well-known in the Campania sports scene as the title sponsor of Napoli Basket, valid and appropriate.
The agreement marks the end of a long period of uncertainty. The Castellammare di Stabia club, coming off an extraordinary season in Serie B that culminated in reaching the playoff semifinals, had been in receivership for months. The emergency measure was ordered by the Naples Court following an investigation by the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office into alleged mafia infiltration.
The corporate transformation was necessary in the race against time to safeguard the club's title. The two judicial administrators, Salvatore Scarpa and Mario Ferrara, had approved a capital increase of €6,9 million, a sum essential to guarantee the club's registration in the next 2026-2027 Serie B championship.
Given the previous owner's refusal to pursue recapitalization, two offers were submitted to the Court. Domus srl, Guerri's special purpose vehicle, won the offer, offering the most solid financial guarantees. This transaction also received strong support from the public and local institutions: in recent days, even the mayor of Castellammare di Stabia, Luigi Vicinanza, had publicly expressed his support for Guerri's project.
Now that the legal storm has been put to rest for Juve Stabia, it's time to let the pitch do the talking.
Interesting news, but the facts are not yet clear; JuveStabia now seems to have a new owner or one who says he is solid, but we need to see if the 6,9 million will really arrive and if the team will be able to resist the pressure and continue to grow on the pitch, let's hope for the best.
