An illegal car wash was seized in Orta di Atella, in the Caserta area, at the end of a joint operation conducted by the Caserta Provincial Police and the Aversa Public Safety Commissioner.
The business, already subject to a prohibition order issued by the Labor Inspectorate, continued to operate despite the regulations. The investigations also revealed a lack of required environmental permits and irregularities in waste management and traceability.
During the inspection, four people, all Egyptian nationals, were identified as having been involved in the washing operations. The owner of the facility has been reported to the judicial authorities.
At the same time, the facility and its equipment were seized. Administrative fines were also imposed for the violations found.

I think the news is accurate, but it's also a bit confusing. The authorities didn't stop it sooner, and the car wash continued to operate despite restrictions. Permits were lacking, and waste traceability was poor. The four people identified were arrested, but it's unclear whether they were workers or not. The owner has been reported.
