Caserta – Violence in the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, the process enters the final phase. After more than three and a half years, the preliminary hearing has concluded at the maxi-process for the abuses committed on April 6, 2020 by prison officers against inmates in the Nile section of the penitentiary institution.

The schedule presented by the president of the Assize Court of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere calls for the closing arguments of prosecutors Alessandro Milita, Alessandra Pinto, and Daniela Pannone to begin on June 29th. This is expected to last for four or five hearings, although prosecutors have until June 15th to present a more precise schedule.
The complexity of the trial, combined with the number of defendants, suggests that the closing arguments may be held even longer than the 4-5 currently indicated by the Prosecutor's Office.
