The prestigious Teatro San Carlo in Naples will host the 2026 Silver Ribbon Awards ceremony on Saturday, June 6. The Italian Film Journalists (SNGCI) have announced the first awards for the sixth edition of the event, once again organized in collaboration with the Film Commission of the Campania Region.
Among the absolute protagonists of this year's edition are Luisa Ranieri, Carlo Verdone, and Lino Guanciale, three iconic faces of contemporary Italian cinema and television.
Luisa Ranieri awarded for "The Headmistress"
Leading the list of honors is Luisa Ranieri, who will receive a Nastro d'Argento for her performance in the Rai Fiction series La Preside, created by Luca Zingaretti and directed by Luca Miniero.
The recognition goes beyond just her acting performance. The film press also recognized the actress's dedication to telling the story of Eugenia Liguori, the school principal who transformed the difficult reality of Caivano into a symbol of redemption and hope.

The award celebrates the Roman actor and director's journey into television series, culminating with the conclusion of the series produced for Paramount+, a strongly autobiographical project that over the years has won over audiences and critics thanks to its mix of irony, sincerity, and self-analysis.
Film journalists have emphasized how Verdone has successfully transferred the language of his comedy to serial production, maintaining intact that "melancholic" quality that has made him one of the most beloved authors by the Italian public.
The award takes on a special significance on the fortieth anniversary of Troppo Forte, one of the iconic films of his career, and comes in a year in which the artist also directed the film Scuola di Seduzione, confirming his ability to interpret and narrate the evolution of human and sentimental relationships.

A special Nastro d'Argento was finally awarded to Lino Guanciale, recognized by the board of directors of the Film Journalists for an exceptional season that saw him starring in four successful productions.
The Abruzzese actor stood out in the third season of Il Commissario Ricciardi, based on the novels by Maurizio de Giovanni, but also in the series L'invisibile – La cattura by Matteo Messina Denaro and in Le libere donne, demonstrating extraordinary interpretative versatility.
Added to these titles is her participation in Carlo Verdone's Scuola di seduzione, which further confirmed her ability to move effortlessly from civil drama to comedy.
