Carabinieri officers from the Torre del Greco station arrested Vincenzo Buonocore, a 27-year-old local man, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. The suspect, already known to law enforcement for previous activities, had been placed under surveillance following reports.
During the investigation, inside the young man's home, officers found 15,63 grams of mixed substances, including cocaine, hashish, and amphetamine. Alongside the drugs, they also found specific packaging and sales materials, as well as €1.300 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.
The arrested man, now under house arrest, is awaiting trial. The matter has been forwarded to the competent judicial authority for further evaluation.
