The night of violence that unfolded in Palinuro, where a massive brawl broke out outside a nightclub, resulting in the injuries of two young men from Marina di Camerota, is still being reconstructed.

The Carabinieri responded to the scene and immediately began an investigation to reconstruct every stage of the fight and, above all, to identify the individuals involved. The officers interviewed those present, the owners of the facility, and security staff, gathering initial testimonies useful to the investigation.

Footage recorded by video surveillance systems in the area could play a key role in the investigation. The Carabinieri are acquiring and reviewing the footage in an attempt to reconstruct the sequence of events, identify all participants in the brawl, and determine what triggered the violent confrontation.

At the moment, in fact, both the exact dynamics of the attack and the reasons that led to the situation escalating remain unclear.

Two young people in hospital

The two injured men, a 27-year-old and a 30-year-old, were rescued and transported by ambulance to the San Luca Hospital in Vallo della Lucania.

The 27-year-old's medical condition initially raised concerns. He was reportedly struck multiple times in the head and, during the attack, fell into a ditch adjacent to the building, where he was later found unconscious.

The doctors found a significant head trauma, with hematomas and microfractures, ordering an initial prognosis of 30 days and hospitalization for a period of observation.

He lost consciousness and does not remember the attack

Moments of intense apprehension were experienced in the hours following the attack. The young man was initially unconscious and had memory problems attributable to the trauma he had suffered.

His condition subsequently stabilized, and the 27-year-old regained consciousness. However, gaps remain in his memory of what happened: he can only recall the sudden blow to the back, and has no recollection of the moments following the attack.

The other injured youth was also treated by paramedics for the effects of the assault. His condition is not believed to be serious.

The complaint against unknown persons

Those close to the 27-year-old have filed a complaint against unknown persons. Now it's up to investigators to shed light on the incident and identify the perpetrators of the attack.

The Carabinieri are focusing their attention on the testimonies gathered and, above all, on the video surveillance footage, which could provide crucial information to identify those responsible and definitively clarify the dynamics of the night of violence.
