The Democratic Party has described the violence suffered by a young woman in Castellammare di Stabia as an unspeakable act, expressing deep solidarity with the victim and her family.
MPs Marco Sarracino and Arturo Scotto emphasized the need for structural interventions, focusing on emotional education that promotes mutual respect and on the conscious use of social networks to prevent them from becoming vehicles of hatred and violence.
In their statement, Democratic Party representatives emphasized that the political and social priority is preventing and combating all forms of gender-based violence, reiterating the importance of recovering the principle of humanity, often lost in contemporary society. For the Democratic Party, "respect for women's freedom of choice and preventing and combating all forms of gender-based violence are essential political and social priorities."
