Naples once again becomes the stage for Campania's viticulture with Campania.Wine, the event that brings together over 100 wineries from all the region's major wine-producing areas on September 6th and 7th. The event, now in its third year, brings together appellations ranging from Sannio to Campi Flegrei, from Vesuvius to Irpinia, from the province of Caserta to Cilento and the Amalfi Coast.

Jointly organized by the five Campania wine consortia—Sannio, Vesuvio, Irpinia, Caserta, and Salerno—along with the Campania Region's Department of Agriculture and the City of Naples, the event showcases the region's rich winemaking heritage through a series of tastings and insights. The Galleria Umberto I will host the walk-around tasting, open to the public, featuring over 100 wineries showcasing the diversity and vitality of Campania's winemaking sector.

Alongside the large tasting table, the MUSAP – Museo Artistico Politecnico di Napoli – will host masterclasses, guided tastings, and the Campania Wine Forum, dedicated to wine tourism, with events also dedicated to gastronomy and hospitality. This initiative is part of a broader regional agri-food promotion program, which includes participation in numerous wine-related events through 2028, with the aim of strengthening the presence of Campanian products on national and international markets.

According to the institutions involved, Campania.Wine is more than just a trade fair: it represents a systemic project that connects regions, consortia, and companies to build a unified and recognizable image of Campanian wine. The connection between wine and territory emerges as a key element for promoting the region's tourism and culture, with initiatives also geared toward the upcoming America's Cup, an event that will offer further opportunities for promotion.

The participating wineries span the entire Campania region: from Sannio with names like Fontanavecchia and Cantina di Solopaca, to the Vesuvian production of Cantina del Vesuvio and Casa Setaro, passing through Irpinia, the province of Caserta, the Phlegraean Fields, and the province of Salerno. This broad representation demonstrates the variety of native grape varieties and the identity of the different territories, highlighted in a collective narrative that aims to consolidate Campania as a major wine region.
