Caserta – A passenger disembarked an Air Campania bus without realizing she'd left her bag with her personal belongings and approximately €2,000 in cash on board. She realized it a few minutes later.
The vehicle, on the Caserta–Marcianise–Santa Maria Capua Vetere line 02, was located upon returning to the Caserta-Firema station. There, Pietro, the operator, found the bag still on board. Driver Giovanni then tracked down the woman and returned it to her intact.
The visibly emotional owner thanked the company for recovering her documents and money. Air Campania's CEO, Anthony Acconcia, expressed his satisfaction, praising the staff: "Well done, I'm proud of you."
The incident, which occurred in Caserta, was made public on Wednesday, September 2. Air Campania is the local public bus transport company owned by the Campania Region.
