This morning, at the Salvo D'Acquisto barracks, headquarters of the Campania Carabinieri Legion, Lieutenant General Massimo Masciulli officially bid farewell to military personnel from the region and surrounding areas. Masciulli led the Ogaden Interregional Command, with responsibilities spanning Campania, Basilicata, Puglia, Abruzzo, and Molise, in a career that left a significant mark on both the operational and personal levels.
During his farewell address, received by Major General Francesco Gargaro, commander of the Campania Carabinieri Legion, Masciulli expressed his emotion at leaving a region where he has gained significant experience and established close collaborations. Looking ahead, the general announced his imminent transfer to the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate in Rome, a highly significant position that represents a new professional challenge for him.
In his speech, he reflected on the importance of combining technological innovation and the human dimension within police and military forces, emphasizing that the progress of operational tools cannot ignore the attention to the people who embody the force on a daily basis.
The general reiterated the need to maintain a strong community spirit and internal solidarity, especially in times of difficulty, urging his colleagues to continue on the path they have chosen with commitment and dedication. Finally, he warmly thanked the Carabinieri of Campania for their contribution and tireless work in the region.
