A small hiccup, but fortunately resolved in the best possible way. On the morning of Tuesday, September 8th, Scott McTominay underwent a successful cardiac ablation procedure at Spire Manchester Hospital in England.
Napoli announced the news in an official statement: "This morning, as scheduled, Scott McTominay underwent the ablation procedure at Spire Manchester Hospital. The surgery was a complete success. McTominay will rest for approximately two weeks before resuming training."
Although the Neapolitan club hasn't announced a specific date for his return to competitive action, the recovery process appears to be well underway. Given the 14-day rest period, the Italian medical and technical staff hope to have the Scottish midfielder fully available immediately after the international break, ready to reintegrate into the squad rotation.
