Poggiomarino – He attempted to obtain his cash by pointing a gun at a supermarket cashier, but was chased away by the employee's reaction and arrested shortly thereafter by the Carabinieri. The perpetrator of the incident is a sixteen-year-old boy, arrested on charges of attempted robbery.
The incident occurred on the evening of September 3rd in Poggiomarino. According to the reconstruction, the young man appeared at the convenience store checkout and threatened the cashier with a gun, demanding money. The clerk's prompt resistance foiled the robbery, prompting the robber to flee.
The local Carabinieri station was immediately notified , and they responded and located the minor nearby. During the investigation, it was revealed that the weapon he was holding was actually a toy gun. The investigation, supported by witness statements and video surveillance footage from the business, provided strong evidence of the young man's guilt.
