SSC Bari Calcio announced that it has fully covered its previous losses, reaching a positive net worth of nearly one million euros. This result was possible thanks to contributions and waivers from sole shareholder Filmauro, which invested over 23 million euros in the club in the 2025/2026 season alone. At the same time, Filmauro made a legally binding commitment to cover the club's financial needs for the entire 2026/2027 season.

The club, now admitted to the 2026/2027 Serie C championship, continues its regular sporting and management activities, fully confident in the judicial authorities' assessments. A hearing is scheduled for September 10th before the Bankruptcy Court of Bari, following the Public Prosecutor's Office's request to initiate liquidation proceedings based on a presumed state of insolvency and debts amounting to approximately €30 million.

SSC Bari has filed a defense brief, contesting the existence of the insolvency and documenting the financial interventions undertaken. The club also emphasizes that the 2026/2027 financial plan, approved according to federal parameters, provides sufficient credit and cash flow to cover the season's commitments.

Presidents Luigi and Aurelio De Laurentiis, respectively the sole director of SSC Bari and the president of Napoli Calcio, as well as the legal representative of Filmauro, are under investigation in Bari for fraudulent bankruptcy and false corporate disclosures regarding the Apulian club's 2024 financial statements. Despite this, the club expresses confidence in the judicial authorities' decisions and continues its sporting and managerial journey.
