Local Police intervened this afternoon, September 7, in Piazza Amendola, where a patrol from the Special Operations Unit (NOS) responded to a report of an unauthorized parking attendant, described as particularly aggressive toward motorists.
When officers arrived, the man, a Ukrainian citizen, allegedly reacted by cursing and threatening the officers. Despite the difficulty of the operation and the precarious sanitary conditions found on site, the officers managed to subdue and restrain him.
The individual was then escorted to the Police Headquarters, where he was photographed and identified. He was reported to the Judicial Authorities for resisting arrest and assaulting a public official.
At the same time, an administrative fine was imposed pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 15-bis, of the Highway Code for practicing illegal parking. Finally, the man was also served with an order to leave the area, known as an urban DASPO, prohibiting him from remaining in the affected area.
