The Naples Court of Appeal has ruled that there are no grounds for proceeding against a 44-year-old man from Airola, accused of refusing to provide his personal details to public officials at the Benevento Police Headquarters.
The defendant, represented by Vittorio Fucci, was convicted in the first instance by the Court of Benevento. However, the appeal court dismissed the case, thus overturning the initial decision.
The case concerns an incident in which the man, during a police check, failed to provide requested personal information, for which he was charged with refusing to provide information about his personal identity.
The Court of Appeal's ruling marks the end of the legal proceedings against him.
