This evening, September 9, 2026, the final of the 13th Tiziano Della Ratta Memorial will be played in Cervino , an inter-force five-a-side football tournament organized by the Caserta Carabinieri in collaboration with the Association “Life is a precious gift… Tiziano ODV”.
The event will take place at the Dea Diana Sports Center, located at Via Monsignor Pascarella 5. Kick-off is scheduled for 17:30 PM, with awards ceremony and remarks from officials scheduled for 19:00 PM.
The evening combines sporting moments with the memory and values of service: the Memorial aims to remember Carabinieri Select Corporal Tiziano Della Ratta, awarded the Gold Medal for Military Valor in memoriam, for falling in the line of duty.
Before the final, the Fanfare of the 10th Carabinieri Regiment "Campania" will perform. Numerous regional and provincial authorities will attend the event, including the Prefect of Caserta, the Prefect of Benevento, the Commander of the Carabinieri Legion "Campania," and the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri of Caserta, along with representatives of the Carabinieri, other police forces, and local institutions.
Now in its 13th edition, the tournament saw teams from various organizations and institutions compete, transforming the competition into an opportunity to share and strengthen relationships among those committed to serving the community.
Beyond the sporting achievement, the evening is intended as a moment of remembrance and transmission of the values of solidarity, courage, and a sense of duty that are the hallmarks of Tiziano Della Ratta.
