SThe total number of Coronavirus cases in Italy has risen to 201.505, with an increase of 2.091 units higher than the one (+1.739) recorded yesterday. According to the data from the daily bulletin of the civil protection, however, the balance of currently positive cases continues to decrease, which today is 105.205, with a decrease of 608 patients compared to -290 yesterday. The number of recovered patients has risen to 68.941, with a +2.317 compared to yesterday while the deaths have become 27.359: in the last 24 hours, unfortunately, 382 have been counted against the 333 of yesterday. The pressure on hospital facilities continues to decrease: those hospitalized in intensive care are 1.863 (93 fewer) and those hospitalized with symptoms are 19.723 (630 fewer); 83.619 remain in home isolation (+115), 79% of those currently positive. The number of swabs also starts to rise again: today 57.272 were carried out for a total of 1.846.934. Therefore, after one day, the number of those currently positive for coronavirus in Italy starts to decrease again. The downward trend in hospitalizations in intensive care for coronavirus continues: today there are 1.863, 93 fewer than yesterday. Of these, 655 are in Lombardy, 25 fewer than yesterday.
According to the Civil Protection data, there are 35.744 sick people in Lombardy (303 more than yesterday), 12.003 in Emilia-Romagna (-222), 15.506 in Piedmont (-2), 8.601 in Veneto (-259), 5.896 in Tuscany (-87), 3.571 in Liguria (-9), 3.334 in Marche (+)24, 4.562 in Lazio (+0), 2.802 in Campania (-75), 1.565 in the Province of Trento (-142), 2.919 in Puglia (+7), 1.239 in Friuli Venezia Giulia (-19), 2.143 in Sicily (+20), 1.990 in Abruzzo (-40), 910 in the province of Bolzano (-30), 275 in Umbria (-12), 772 in Sardinia (-4), 764 in Calabria (-18), 209 in Valle d'Aosta (-26), 205 in Basilicata (-12), 195 in Molise (-5). As for the victims, 13.575 were recorded in Lombardy (+126), 3.472 in Emilia-Romagna (+41), 2.936 in Piedmont (+58), 1.408 in Veneto (+64), 811 in Tuscany (+16), 1.141 in Liguria (+13), 893 in Marche (+9), 414 in Lazio (+17), 358 in Campania (+6), 412 in the province of Trento (+5), 407 in Puglia (+2), 278 in Friuli Venezia Giulia (+7), 232 in Sicily (+1), 310 in Abruzzo (+11), 272 in the province of Bolzano (+2), 65 in Umbria (+0), 109 in Sardinia (+0), 85 in Calabria (+2), 135 in Valle d'Aosta (+2), 25 in Basilicata (+0), 21 in Molise (+0). To date, 1.846.934 swabs have been carried out, involving a total of 1.274.871 people. The increase in the number of swabs compared to yesterday is 57.272.
