Dfrom 11 to 17 May 2020, it will be possible to travel to the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida, with the obligation for travellers to embark only with scheduled ferries and hydrofoils from the stations of Naples Porto di Massa, Naples Beverello, Pozzuoli, Castellammare di Stabia and Sorrento. This was established by the ordinance number 46 of yesterday by the president of the Regional Council of Campania, Vincenzo De Luca, at the end of the investigation at the Regional Crisis Unit, with the mayors of the municipalities of the islands of the Gulf of Naples. Here is the text of the ordinance:
In particular, regarding entry and travel, the ordinance provides for the islands:
Travel from other Italian regions and abroad:
– prohibition on reaching the islands with private pleasure craft, taking into account the need to control landings;
– travellers are required to embark only on scheduled ferries and only from the stations of Naples Porto di Massa and Pozzuoli;
– online booking required;
– obligation to present yourself for boarding at least one hour before departure, to allow for checks;
– obligation for all travellers to undergo body temperature measurement and rapid Covid-19 testing;
– boarding prohibited for travellers with a body temperature equal to or higher than 37,5°C;
– temporary ban on boarding for travellers who test positive for the rapid Covid-19 test, with provision for fiduciary surveillance, pending the outcome of the nasopharyngeal molecular swab
Intra-regional travel:
– prohibition on reaching the islands with private pleasure craft, taking into account the need to control landings;
– travellers are required to board only scheduled ferries and hydrofoils from the stations of Naples Porto di Massa, Naples Beverello, Pozzuoli, Castellamare di Stabia and Sorrento;
