Phase 2 and vandalism. Cars damaged in a park in Casavatore, it is the fourth time in six months, residents cry for help. Borrelli: "Shameful that such things happen, especially at this time. We need to monitor the area and understand if it is vandalism or acts of intimidation".
Yet another act of vandalism that characterizes this phase 2 of the health emergency. In Casavatore, Parco delle Acacie, a new area of the city, about ten cars parked on the street were the object, on the night between May 13 and 14, of acts of vandalism, in fact the windows of the cars were broken.
And it seems not to be the first time that a similar episode has happened, as a citizen victim of the vandalism who reported the incident to the Regional Councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli recounts: "in the last six months, our cars have been targeted and damaged 4 times. These are not thefts because nothing was taken from the cars, except from that of a lady where the groceries were stolen. We are very bitter and also desperate, there are many people in economic difficulty due to this health emergency and cannot afford to have their car repaired every time."
"It is shameful that such things happen, especially in a difficult period like the one we are experiencing. These citizens cannot be abandoned to their fate, they must be helped, so we ask that the area be subjected to surveillance through a video camera system and that there be continuous patrols in order to guarantee the safety of the road and we need to understand if these are acts of vandalism or if there are intimidating messages underneath, given that there have been multiple attacks, it could be suspicious." - was the comment of Councilor Borrelli.
