He was supposed to reach the Lauro police station: he was fined.
NIn the municipality of Lauro, still under the restrictions imposed by Mayor Antonio Bossone who effectively froze the start of phase 2 by prohibiting entry into his municipality, the mayor of nearby Moschiano, Rosario Addeo, was denied entry. At the checkpoint along the road connecting the two municipalities, Mayor Bossone himself was present along with the traffic police. When asked to pass, Addeo, who was on his way to the police station, was refused passage. The mayor did not have his identity documents with him and asked that he be allowed to pass anyway for an emergency reason.
After the clear refusal, Addeo did not lose heart and reached the police station anyway through another passage. However, when the Municipality of Lauro realized the alleged violation, the sanction for the mayor of Moschiano was implacable. The matter could end up in the hands of the prefect of Avellino, Paola Spena.
Addeo claims to be the victim of abuse, also because the citizens of Moschiano are still allowed to shop for food in Lauro, not having a supermarket for basic necessities.
