Naples. A toast with 'tazzulell e' cafè' between owners and staff. This is how Gambrinus reopened this morning, after the lockdown.
The historic café in Piazza del Plebiscito, which celebrated its 160th anniversary last week with its shutters down, has reopened with the green light for tables in the large internal room and in the outdoor area on Piazza Trieste e Trento, overlooking the Plebiscito. The tables spaced one meter apart are fewer but have allowed the restart as in many other establishments in Naples.
The first customer was Daniela, a Roman who works in Naples, welcomed with a look of joy and relief by the staff for the restart.
