SCAPESTRO presents 'Chi se ne va' the third single from the album 'E' il bene che resta'. A track that evolves the typical songwriting of the musician and singer from Castellammare di Stabia.
From the album “E' il bene che resta”, the second full-length by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Scapestro, comes the third video-single for the song “Chi se ne va”. A track that evolves the typical songwriting of the musician and singer from Castellammare di Stabia who here flirts with desert blues (Mdou Moctar, Bombino, Tinariwen) personalizing it and taking it to new levels.
“A warm vortex of colors, a wheel, an ouroboros of movement that recalls wild imaginaries.” – This is how Scapestro describes the song. “The aridity in the video of “Chi se ne va” is that matter illuminated by yellow which is a warm yellow sent by an intense sun. This is nothing but a synesthesia: in the video “chi se ne va non ha cuore ne' dolore” it is a melancholic feeling that normally would have calm tones veering towards a classic blues but that here we find in a loop of amber, yellow, red tones leaving whoever watches it in a state of quiet, acceptance, synthesis, movement.”
The music video for “Chi se ne va” was directed by Denise Galdo for Guns for bunnies.
The new album by Fulvio Di Nocera, better known as Scapestro, was recorded, mixed and mastered by Fabrizio Piccolo at the historic Auditorium Novecento studios in Naples (formerly Phonotype rec.). In the nine tracks that make up the tracklist we find illustrious collaborators such as Chiara Carnevale of the group Assurd, Antonella Bianco of the group Coma Berenices, Jonathan Maurano drummer of EPO/Fanali/Blindur, Caterina Bianco (Fanali/Tropico/Passione tour next generation) and pianist Giosi Cincotti.
