Iin summer it will start at Napoli the construction site for the construction of 104 homes that will replace the two-story asbestos camp that has survived for 30 years in the Ponticelli neighborhood, on the eastern outskirts of the city. The green light came today with the vote of the council of the sixth municipality that decided unanimously, in the presence of the deputy mayor of Naples Laura Lieto.
"To date - explains Patrizio Gragnano, councilor of the 5 Star Movement in Municipality 6 - there is still no certainty that those houses will go to those who have lived for many years against their will in asbestos niches and have paid on their own skin for the limitations and wickedness of entire political classes. In today's council, which we strongly wanted as a special commission Pnrr of which I am vice president - he continues - we have outlined the guidelines to recognize the right to housing to all those who have been living regularly in the camp with regular residence since April 30, 2016 and are present in the censuses that the Municipality is carrying out. It is another historic step towards the end of this nightmare".
"In these hours - concludes Gragnano - I have found an enormous sensitivity both of the deputy mayor and of all the political forces without distinction. The path of the next few months will be very delicate and we believe that no one should be left behind, without any distinction, but from today we are all more confident".
