Caward ceremony named after Camorra victim, Annalisa Durante.
Superheroes and superheroines, including Captain Marvel, Captain America, Spiderman, Ironman and Hulk, came down from the roof of the 'Adelaide Ristori' school in Forcella, Naples, today to raise awareness among children about the issue of legality, at the conclusion of the celebrations for the Annalisa Durante National Award, an innocent victim of the Camorra who was killed in an armed clash between clans a few meters from the school that now bears her name.
During the day, the awards ceremony for the national school competition named in memory of the young woman also took place. Dressing up for the occasion were volunteers from the non-profit association SEA “SuperEroiAcrobatici”, founded by Anna Marras, who declared: "We are happy to collaborate with the Annalisa Durante Association of Naples to raise awareness of legality among even the youngest. I played the role of Captain Marvel, the superheroine capable of absorbing energy to increase her strength, to show children that true strength is within us."
"The SuperEroiAcrobatici close a week of events organized in memory of Annalisa for students of all levels. Their presence is important to teach the children of Forcella not to be afraid and to believe in the values of freedom and legality”, emphasized Giuseppe Perna, president of the Annalisa Durante association. Stefania Colicelli, principal of the Forcella school, adds: “we welcomed the performance of the SuperEroiAcrobatici with the song 'Un grande cuore nel petto', composed by our students for the Annalisa Durante National Award”.
