Nnew progress in enhancing the Villa Floridiana in Naples. On 2 February 2024, the restoration work on the entrance on Via Cimarosa was completed, in addition to the work already done on the avenues and the monumental staircase of the Belvedere.
The restoration is just one piece of the park's overall redevelopment plan, which includes the removal of metal barriers that limit access and the care of the forest and undergrowth.
The new “National Museums of Vomero” hub will open by spring, which will include San Martino, Castel Sant'Elmo and Villa Floridiana with the Duca di Martina Museum.
The project represents an important opportunity for the valorization of the historical and cultural heritage of Vomero and for the creation of a new tourist attraction.
Completed interventions: restoration of the entrance on Via Cimarosa, safety of the avenues, restoration of the monumental staircase of the Belvedere.
