Naples, 52-Year-Old Ghanaian Arrested While Dealing in the Historic Center

NDuring a territorial control operation, the agents of the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station arrested a 52-year-old Ghanaian citizen for illicit possession of narcotic substances.

The man was noticed while giving a package to another person in via Loffredi. At the sight of the police, the buyer quickly walked away, while the 52-year-old was stopped and checked.

In his possession, the officers found 3 packages of marijuana for a total weight of approximately 5 grams and 60 euros.

Suspecting the presence of additional drugs, the police searched the man's home, where they found 2 more packages of marijuana (about 35 grams), two precision scales, drug packaging material and 540 euros in cash.

In light of what was ascertained, the 52-year-old, already known to the police, was arrested and locked up in the Poggioreale prison.
