UA 52-year-old man was arrested in Aversa by the State Police for drug dealing, after being found in possession of three kilos of hashish.
The arrest occurred when the man, who had been under observation by the Aversa police station for some time, was stopped while he was driving his car. The police suspected that he was carrying out home-based drug dealing activities.
During the search of the vehicle, the officers found only a few doses of drugs, but also discovered a significant sum of money, which is presumed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. At that point, the police decided to search the first address declared by the 52-year-old, without finding anything significant. However, at a second address indicated by the suspect, the officers discovered 28 blocks of hashish hidden in the attic.
Faced with this discovery, the Police arrested the 52-year-old, who was then transferred to the prison of Santa Maria Capua Vetere pending further investigations and judicial proceedings. This arrest underscores the constant commitment of law enforcement in combating drug dealing and demonstrates how important careful surveillance and investigation activities are.
