Brawl at Arenile di Bagnoli: two 15-year-olds stabbed, one in serious condition

Uan evening of nightlife at Arenile di Bagnoli degenerated into a violent brawl, which left two 15-year-olds with knife wounds, one of them in serious condition.

It all started around 21:10 PM last night, at the end of a party reserved for minors. For reasons that are still unclear, two groups of young people faced each other outside the venue, giving rise to a furious brawl involving about ten kids.

During the brawl, two 15-year-olds were stabbed. One of the two suffered serious wounds to the abdomen, while the other was hit in the left side and shoulder.

Both were rushed to the San Paolo hospital, where they are hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. The conditions of the first boy, although serious, are not such as to put his life in danger.

The agents of the Bagnoli State Police intervened on the scene, and began investigations to reconstruct what happened and identify those responsible. Thanks to the images from the video surveillance cameras and the testimonies of those present, the investigators were able to gather evidence against a 17-year-old, who was questioned in the police station. The boy, however, denied being the author of the stabbing.

Once again, the nightlife is tainted by violence

Last night's episode represents yet another case of violence that occurs during an evening of movida. A worrying warning that pushes us to reflect on the need for greater controls and security measures to guarantee the safety of young people.
