Magical Mistery Story “Now and Then” is the new show by The Beatbox and Carlo Massarini, dedicated to the history and music of the Beatles, on stage at the Acacia theater in Naples on Thursday 9 May at 21 pm.
An extraordinary journey through the history and music of the Fab Four that unfolds by combining the impeccable performance of The Beatbox with the narrative charm of Carlo Massarini. During the five acts that characterize the show, the well-known presenter and music journalist reveals the most fascinating anecdotes and curiosities of the extraordinary adventure of the four baronets of Liverpool. While on stage, The Beatbox - a group known throughout Europe with hundreds of concerts every year and participation in the major festivals dedicated to the Beatles, formed by Marco Breglia, Filippo Caretti, Michele Caputo and Federico Franchi - faithfully interpret the great successes of the Liverpool quartet. Reproducing the hits of the "Beatlesian" discography with extraordinary executive precision and giving the listener the vocal and visual sound impact of the legendary quartet. Nothing is left to chance, every detail is taken care of with precision, from the original instruments of the time identical to that used by the Beatles in their historic concerts and studio sessions, to the changes of clothes and makeup, recreating the atmosphere and unique style of that magical historical moment.
The show, which spans the memories and discoveries of several generations, aims to bring back the enthusiasm and positivity of the legendary 60s. The setlist embraces legendary hits from the Cavern Club period in Liverpool, to that of Rubber Soul and Revolver, arriving at the masterpieces that preceded the band's breakup in 1970. During the show you can listen to iconic songs such as She Loves You, A Hard Day's Night, Yesterday, Twist and shout, Hey Jude, Come Together, Let It Be, Something, just to name a few.
