SSaturday, May 25 at 18:XNUMX p.m., the beautiful Villa Fernandes, a common property of the Municipality of Portici, will host a new literary meeting. The event will see the presentation of the novel “Due minuti d'inferno” written by Giorgio Attanasio.
Giorgio Attanasio and his career
Giorgio Attanasio, originally from Naples, has lived and worked in San Giorgio del Sannio for over twenty years. After a long career as a business consultant in the agri-food sector, Attanasio has finally returned to his decades-long passion: writing. “Due minuti d'inferno”, published by the Roman publishing house La Bussola, represents his most recent literary commitment.
The novel “Two Minutes of Hell”
“Two Minutes of Hell” is a fast-paced dreamlike thriller that skillfully mixes reality, dream and mysticism, gluing the reader to its pages. The plot unfolds between normality and cold rationality, to then evolve into an increasingly dreamlike context, characterized by dark hues, mystery, fear, death and damnation.
The plot of the book
The protagonist, Marco, is a brilliant journalist and Roman “debunker”, a well-known opponent of magicians, magic and esotericism. During a radio talk show in a small Tuscan town, Marco is called to discuss diabolical possession. Five minutes before the end of the broadcast, the voice of a listener who claims to have been deceived by Satan bursts into the studios, changing the tone of the discussion. The woman, mocked by Marco, curses him with the words: “You are cursed!” Shaken by the accident, Marco finds himself involved in a tragic car accident and subsequently in the mysterious events of a farmhouse of the Corsini family, where he will discover horrendous truths.
The event at Villa Fernandes
The author will be in conversation with Antonio Capece, President of Semi di Pace Onlus, the leading social cooperative of the Villa Fernandes Project: Common Good. The readings of the novel will be entrusted to the voice of Manuela Infante of the Tells Italy group, while the event will be supported by Libreria Libridine.
This meeting represents an important opportunity to get to know a work that promises to keep readers in suspense, while at the same time allowing us to enhance a place of culture and history like Villa Fernandes.
