MAs the Italian football championships near their conclusion, attention is shifting to the transfer market and, in particular, to the moves of the coaches. Juventus, Milan and Napoli are at the center of discussions, with the three teams looking for a new coach for next season.
At Juventus, the future of the coach remains uncertain. Although Massimiliano Allegri still has a year left on his contract, it seems that the Bianconeri are oriented towards a change of technical leadership. The prominent name on the wish list of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is Thiago Motta, currently out of contract with Bologna and also coveted by other teams, including Antonio Conte's Inter.
Conte himself, former coach of Inter, is also at the center of attention of Napoli, where president Aurelio De Laurentiis considers him the ideal candidate to relaunch the team after a disappointing season. However, Chelsea and Milan are also closely following the moves of the coach from Lecce.
For Milan, the trail that led to Julen Lopetegui has faded, with the Spanish coach very close to West Ham. In the meantime, Bayern Munich is looking for a new coach after the separation from Thomas Tuchel and considers Erik Ten Hag as the number one candidate, while there is also the return of Pep Guardiola to Bavaria as a significant suggestion.
Milan are looking to Portugal, with Sergio Conceicao and former Roma coach Paulo Fonseca among the options being considered. Sporting Lisbon's Ruben Amorim has also been considered, but looks set to stay in Portugal despite Premier League interest. Back at Napoli, there are several names vying for the bench, including Stefano Pioli, Vincenzo Italiano and Gian Piero Gasperini, whose contract with Atalanta expires next year.
