Last night the station arrested Pasquale Manzo, a sixty-year-old local man already known to the police, for illegal cultivation of narcotics.
The Carabinieri had noticed a plantation of marijuana composed of 19 plants about 3 meters tall each complete with inflorescences. The plants were hidden among the cultivation and in particular among the tomatoes.
Daylight gives way to night and finally a man approaches the plantation. He is the 60-year-old and, busy watering the plants, he does not even notice the arrival of the carabinieri who arrest him.

The marijuana was uprooted and destroyed while the material for processing and caring for the illegal plants was seized.
